What You Can Do

Questionnaires
Depression comes in many forms (see our Learn More section for an in-depth discussion). However, you can take the following Clinical Depression Screening Test to determine if you or someone you love may have depression.

Laboratory testing
Scientists have found that neurotransmitter deficiency is a cause of depression for many people. Laboratory testing is available to determine if this is a cause and which neurotransmitters need to be adjusted to restore optimal functioning.

The Neuroregulatory Profile measures the most common neurotransmitters associated with mood, including serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine. Once we determine which neurotransmitters are out of balance, we can give the body the nutrients it needs to make them and restore optimal function.
