Functional Testing and Nutritional Needs
At the Natural Path Health Center, we know that nutrition and healthy eating are a fundamental part of our client’s achieving their health goals. We offer functional assessments and testing to determine exactly the right diet for each person and pinpoint any unique nutritional needs. We then provide one-on-one nutrition counseling, cooking classes and demonstrations, healthy recipes, and our weight loss program, Optimal Body Balance as options to keep people on track and make the transition into their new lifestyle as easy and enjoyable as possible.
What is Amino Acid Therapy?
Brain chemicals called neurotransmitters control many of your bodily functions, including mood, focus, concentration, memory, body temperature, appetite, cravings, sleep, behavior, pain tolerance, hormone balance and many others. Imbalances in neurotransmitter levels are often the root cause of many disorders associated with these functions.
Amino acid therapy entails providing the body the correct balance of amino acids and cofactors needed to establish proper neurotransmitter function. Each person requires a unique blend of amino acids to establish proper functioning, but once this level is achieved, most or all of the symptoms associated with that imbalance disappear.
Success Stories from Our Clients
I was having frequent migraine headaches – at least 1-2 every week. I started following Dr. Oler’s recommendations for amino acid therapy and I haven’t had another migraine since the second week of my program. I couldn’t be happier!
I was having migraines at least twice a week at a minimum and I had constant low-grade headaches that wouldn’t go away. Emotionally, this put me in a bad place and it also made school and just living in general much more difficult. A good friend recommended that I see Dr. Chad because my MD wasn’t helping.
I have not had a migraine headache since I started following Dr. Chad’s recommendations (over 1 year). Although I still occasionally have mild headaches, they are nowhere near as bad as the ones I was getting last spring.
I no longer have to avoid situations that previously would be migraine-inducing such as crowds or fluorescent lights, and concentrating on school work and other things is much easier. Without the headaches I’m less crabby around my family and I feel like I can actually enjoy my life again. Thank you!
I came into the NPC with high triglycerides, low HDL’s and high cholesterol. I had arthritis in my right knee and every time I work out, I have a lot of stiffness and soreness the next morning. I wanted to develop and maintain an exercise program that I could do without soreness/stiffness while improving my flexibility and tone my body.
Now, I feel great. I have been following the exercise program Dr. Oler put me on and I’m up to running 6 miles in 45 minutes with no pain or soreness. I have no morning stiffness or pain, I am much more flexible and I’ve dropped 6 lbs. and 6% body fat!
My cholesterol went from 208 to 146, my triglycerides went from 194 to 88 and my LDL cholesterol went from 135 to 94! All this in 6 months! I’m going to get my wife in here!
I feel like a totally different person –I can’t believe I have been able to go off all these medications and supplements. It seems too good to be true because I’ve been on medications for so many years. I can’t believe this body of mine is turning things around! Thanks, Dr. Chad, and to your program!
